Below is a message sent by the team leaders to the rest of the team as we prepare for our depature on July 14th!
The Heart of a Servant
At the heart of our partnership with HEAL Africa is our commitment to humbly give ourselves to our brothers and sisters in Goma. We’re going to Eastern Congo to serve in the ways they think best. We’re traveling to Goma with gifts, skills, and friendship to offer. We are going to be working alongside some truly remarkable people. Be open to learning from our friends in the Congo and from one another. Be attentive to the Holy Spirit. Stay grounded in the Scriptures. Be faithful in prayer. Trust the goodness and faithfulness of God. Jesus Christ has called each one of us to this ministry and has gone a head of us and will go with us into the heart of Africa!
